DJ Tee Alleged Assault-Alvin Osungade Explains His Side Of The Story
A mail sent by the upcoming act Alvin Sungade who claimed he was stabbed by top video director, DJ Tee, at a video shoot yesterday to Linda Ikeji. This is his own side of the story...
My name is Tolani Alvin Osungade, and this is what really happened between Dj Tee and I...... Firstly, the video shoot was suppose to start @ 10am and I was there to support my friend "malcoholic" the owner of the video shoot. He (malcoholic) told to me invite friends (video girls and guys) which I did. The video shoot did not start early because it rained and the location was being cleaned. And due to the fact that the shoot didn't start on time, people were having refreshments, guys were drinking (including dj tee and his crew). As this was going on, comments were going round that dj tee just insulted some girls I don't know due to them asking for payment to be in the video and i also heard dj tee was going to call his own people to come and replace them.
Lauryn Hill Found Guilty Of Tax Evasion
According to TMZ, when the judge asked if she "intentionally and willingly" failed to file the returns, she replied, "Yes."
Earlier this month, Lauryn Hill was charged with tax evasion after neglecting to file taxes for three years in a row. The 37 year old Grammy award winner and mother of six yesterday June 29th plead guilty to the charges...three counts of failure to file tax returns for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007, when she earned more than $1.8 million.
She faces up to 3 years in prison and $75,000 in fines. She was released on $150,000 bail and her sentencing hearing has been set for November.
Married Woman Dies While Commiting Adultery
A married man, Amaechi Uche Padmore, has been arrested by the police and charged to a Lagos court on the allegation that his lover, Edith Nwokolo, died while he was intimate with her.
He is now facing a murder charge at Ebute Metta Magistrate’s court, Lagos over her death.
P.M.NEWS learnt that the lovers, who are both married, engaged in intimate romp at 94, Mushin Road, Mushin, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
It was gathered that while Uche was on top of Edith, she started breathing heavily, jerked and died.
They were reported to have dated each other before they got married to different spouses.
Sources said immediately the incident happened, Uche, who has three kids, abandoned his pant and shoes and fled.
Pastor Turns Mad While Trying To Deliver Mad Man
Oke-Ado area residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, as well as shop owners and automobile dealers along Molete road in the town, on Thursday, watched a drama involving a pastor and a mad man.
The pastor, who was simply identified as Timothy, according to an eyewitness, got to Ososami junctions of Oke-Ado around 5.20 p.m and went to meet the mentally-deranged man, popularly known as Tunde, who was sitting in front of a building in the area.
Semiu, a shop owner around the spot of the incident who spoke with the Nigerian Tribune said the pastor began to read the Bible on sighting the mad man, while he moved closer to him and laid hands on his head.
Snoop Dogg Arrested At Norway With 8 Grams Of Marijuana
Snoop Dogg was detained in Norway after entering the country with marijuana and a large amount of cash, according to reports.
The rapper, 40, allegedly arrived Kjevic Airport in Kristiansand with around eight grams of the drug which was detected by a sniffer-dog.
A customs officer also said the artist was carrying more cash than is legally allowed and was subsequently fined 52,000 kroner ($8,600) for the violations.
Snoop Dogg was scheduled to perform Thursday at a musical festival in the southern town of Kristiansand.
It was his second drug bust this year alone - in January he was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas after his transport was stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint.
Drug Trafficker Arrested With Indian Hemp
A suspected peddler of Indian hemp, Onyeka Iloulo, 32, has been arrested by law enforcement agents in Ogun State for his alleged role in a robbery incident in the Mowe area of the state.
CRIME DIGEST learnt that the suspect was apprehended by men of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweeran, after he and four others, three of whom are still at large, attempted to dispossess one Ismaila of his Nissan Xterra Sports Utility Vehicle, valued at N1.8m, at gunpoint on June 13, 2012.
Investigations showed that while the robbers attempted to snatch the vehicle from Ismaila, and probably to scare him, one of the hoodlums fired a gun into the air two times. When he tried to shoot the third time, the gun jammed. Immediately Ismaila noticed this, he raised the alarm and attracted the attention of passers-by.
Recounting what happened, a source close to the police said, “On June 13, around 11.10 pm, Iloulo, Nwankwo, who is now deceased and three others, attempted to dispossess one Ismaila of his car, an Xterra SUV. While they were attempting to rob him, the man immediately raised the alarm and the people around came to his rescue.
“When the robbers saw the mob coming towards them, they abandoned their mission and escaped in a Toyota Carina E saloon car. In their bid to make a quick escape, they left Nwankwo, one of their members, behind.”
CRIME DIGEST gathered that Nwankwo collided with a speeding motorcycle and was seriously injured. Seeing that he was down, the mob pounced on him and dealt him several blows.
The suspected robber did not recover from the beating. But before his death, Nwankwo led the police to the gang’s hide-out where Iloulo was arrested. A member of the gang, Orji, escaped with bullet wounds. Two locally-made double barrelled pistols were recovered with 13 live cartridges.
Iloulo told CRIME DIGEST that this was the first time he was involved in armed robbery. He confessed to being a hemp peddler and that his business often took him to neighbouring West African countries.
He said that the reason he got involved in robbery was because he got into trouble with law enforcement agents in Guinea. He stated that he was almost caught with drugs and had to run away; he said the incident rendered him broke.

Tom Cruise Divorce-Katie Holmes Wants Custody Of Suri
Are the battle lines already being drawn in the divorce of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes?
In papers filed on Thursday in New York, the actress, 33, is seeking "primary residential custody" of their 6-year-old daughter, Suri, according to TMZ.com.
Holmes cites the standard "irreconcilable differences" for the end of their five-year marriage and wants a "suitable amount" of child support from the 49-year-old star, TMZ reports.
Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Divorce After 5 Years Of Marriage
The couple married in November 2006 in a lavish Italian ceremony, are parents to daughter Suri, 6.
According to TMZ, Holmes is the one who filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," and is asking for sole legal and primary residential custody of Suri. Their sources add that Cruise apparently did not see the divorce coming.
Cruise's rep issued a statement Friday afternoon (via Gossip Cop): “Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy.”
Cruise and Holmes started dating in 2005 and were very public with their relationship. They became engaged in Paris, and Cruise couldn't contain his excitement.
"Yes, I proposed to her. ... It was early this morning at the Eiffel Tower, so I haven't slept at all," Cruise told People at the time, adding, "Today is a magnificent day for me, I'm engaged to a magnificent woman."

Gov.Adams Oshiomhole Of Edo State Survives Assasination Attempt
Edo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Louis Odion, told newsmen that Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State survived an assassination attempt yesterday June 28th when gunmen attacked his convoye while he was campaigning at Usen town, Ovia South West LGA of the state.
Mr Odion explained:
"At about 6pm local time, Governor Oshiomhole’s convoy left the palace; it had not travelled too far down the road when it ran into a barricade. Naturally, the security details attached to the governor came down to remove the bar. As they were clearing the place, tens of heavily armed thugs emerged from nowhere and opened fire on the governor for several seconds.Dutifully, the brave security details attached to the governor, supported by an additional contingent of regular policemen deployed to maintain law and order, rose to the occasion. They were able to shield the governor, key government functionaries and others, including leaders of Edo ACN to safety without sustaining any human casualties. But several official vehicles, including Toyota Landcruisers, Hilux pick-up van and Toyota Corolla saloon car were either badly damaged or riddled with bullets.
Samuel Eto'O Fils Accused Of Tax Evasion
A Spanish public prosecutor has accused Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o of conspiring to evade 3.5 million euros in taxes owed on income from his image rights when he was playing for Barcelona between 2006-2009.
The former Barca and Inter Milan player, now with Russian Premier League club Anzhi Makhachkala, is accused of four tax offences, each punishable with up to five years in prison and a fine of as much as 21 million euros.
The case presented by the
prosecutor on June 15 at a Barcelona court, and which was seen by
Reuters on Thursday, asks a judge to open proceedings against the
player before the statute of limitations on one of the alleged offences
expires on Saturday.
