P Square,Tekno,Dj Spinall, Others Turn Up For #Betawards Nominees Send-Off Party

The send-off party, which is part of the line-up of events leading up to the iconic award show, was held to celebrate the nominees before they jet off to this year’s BET Awards in Los Angeles.

Eight outstanding African artists including Wizkid, Davido,Tekno, Mr Eazi, AKA, Nasty C, Babes Wodumo and Stonebwoy were all nominated for the Best International Act: Africa category.

Africa will also be represented at the Awards by singer and humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka and social activist Ilwad Elman being awarded with International Global Good Star and Power Awards.
Speaking at the event, Singer, Tekno, said; “It’s always a privilege to represent Africa on the world stage and this year’s event  is  something to look forward  to.”

The BET AWARDS 2017 will also feature performances from hit makers including Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Bruno Mars, Future, Migos, Trey Songz and Tamar Braxton.

The 2017 “BET Awards” will be hosted by stand-up comedian Leslie Jones and will air across Africa on BET (DStv channel 129) on Tuesday 27 June at 8:00 WAT.
