#WorldCupDraw : Nigeria To Face Argentina, Croatia And Iceland In Group D


The Super Eagles of Nigeria were, on Friday, drawn in Group D to play against Iceland, Croatia and Argentina in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup.

Nigeria will play its first game of the world most prestigious competition against Croatia.

Hosts Russia play Saudi Arabia in the World Cup’s opening game in Moscow on 14 June.

Holders Germany are in Group F with Mexico, Sweden and South Korea while five-times winners Brazil are in Group E alongside Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia.

England meanwhile have been drawn with Belgium, Tunisia and Panama in World Cup Group G
Group B has Spain and Portugal along with Morocco and Iran.

The 2018 tournament takes place in 12 stadiums across Russia between 14 June and 15 July.
